Customer List

The Customer List page provides a comprehensive view of all your customers with powerful filtering, searching, and management capabilities.

Accessing the Customer List

  1. From the sidebar: Click on "Customers" in the "Our Business" section
  2. From the dashboard: Use the quick access links in the dashboard
  3. Direct URL: Navigate to /customers

Page Layout

Header Section

  • Page title: "Customers"
  • Add Customer button: Quick access to create new customers
  • Search bar: Global search across all customer fields
  • Filter controls: Advanced filtering options

Main Content Area

Customer Table

The customer list displays in a sortable table with the following columns:

  • Customer Name: Company or organization name
  • Contact Person: Primary contact name
  • Email: Primary contact email
  • Phone: Contact phone number
  • Status: Active/Inactive status
  • Created Date: When the customer was added
  • Actions: Edit, view details, and delete options

Table Features

  • Sortable columns: Click column headers to sort
  • Pagination: Navigate through large customer lists
  • Bulk actions: Select multiple customers for batch operations
  • Export options: Download customer data in various formats

Search and Filtering

Global Search

  • Search across: Customer name, contact person, email, phone

Advanced Filters

  • Contact person: Filter by specific contact names

Customer Actions

View Customer Details

  1. Click on a customer name or the "View" action button
  2. Navigate to the customer details page with multiple tabs:
    • Basic Information

    • Invoices
    • Payments
    • Acceptance Protocols

Edit Customer

  1. Click the "Edit" action button
  2. Modify customer information in the edit form
  3. Save changes or cancel to discard modifications

Delete Customer

  1. Click the "Delete" action button
  2. Confirm deletion in the confirmation dialog
  3. Note: Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone

Favorite Customers

Mark as Favorite

  • Click the star icon next to customer names
  • Favorite customers appear in the sidebar for quick access
  • Use the star icon to toggle favorite status

View Favorites

  • Favorites are displayed in the sidebar under "Favorite Customers"
  • Quick access to frequently used customer records
  • Visual distinction with star icons

Bulk Operations

Select Multiple Customers

  • Use checkboxes to select multiple customers
  • Select all customers with the header checkbox
  • Clear selections with the "Clear" button

Bulk Actions

  • Export selected: Download customer data
  • Change status: Activate or deactivate multiple customers
  • Add to favorites: Mark multiple customers as favorites
  • Delete selected: Remove multiple customers (with confirmation)

Keyboard Shortcuts

  • Ctrl/Cmd + F: Focus search bar
  • Ctrl/Cmd + A: Select all customers
  • Escape: Clear search or selections
  • Enter: Open selected customer details
